Sedona Backcountry Trail - May 2024

Join the OTG crew as we take on the 250 mile Sedona Backcountry Trail in May 2024.  We will be shooting the video route guide for the Sedona Backcountry Trail and taking our time to make our way through the entire track, with many stops along the way.   You should be comfortable camping in backcountry dispersed sites for the duration of this trip.

Vehicle Requirements

This trip is appropriate for 4x4s w/ all terrain tires, a small 1-2" lift is recommended.  No trailers, Sprinters/oversized rigs or AWD vehicles on this Trail Run.

Camping

We'll be camping at mostly dispersed camping sites for the duration of this trip.  You should be comfortable spending the entire event off the grid.  

Fees & Permits

There may be some fees if we stay at a developed campground along the way.  

Pets

Well behaved dogs may attend, but please note that some hiking trails may not permit dogs.  Your dog may need to be leashed at developed campgrounds as well. 

Families with Children

Families with children are welcome to join, but your kids should be accustomed to traveling long days in the vehicle and multiple days in the backcountry.

Prep

Your typical camping/overlanding gear, but be prepared for warmer temps, especially when we're in the Sedona basin.
