Geminids Meteor Shower Campout delete--

Join the OTG for a local campout in Sugarloaf State Park in Marin County.  To join, you'll need to reserve a campsite at Sugarloaf State Park (we recommend coordinating on our Facebook Page with fellow OTG members, as most sites accommodate 3 vehicles).  The plan is to view the Geminids Meteor shower and do some day hiking (on Saturday and maybe Sunday too).  This event is contingent upon weather.  If a big storm moves in, we'll likely cancel.  

Info to Join this Event (Please Make Sure you Read all of the Details)

As noted above, to join this event, you must either reserve a campsite at Sugarl Loaf SP, to coordinate with a fellow OTG member who has reseved a site.  If you're interested in joining this event, we recommend coordinating on the FB OTG page with other members who plan on going.  Most campsites at Sugarloaf SP accommodate 3 vehicles.    

We  (OTG crew) will post our campsite on the FB page and the event details page (here) once we have our reservation.  We recommend trying to book a campsite as close as possible to our site, as it will act as the HQ for the event (main campfire).

Meet up: 

Arrive as early as you like at Sugarloaf SP.  The OTG will likely be arriving around 4pm on Friday.  

Families and Pets

Families and pets are certainly welcome!  Please make sure you read up on Sugarloaf SP's regulations regarding pets!  

Vehicle Requirements:

The road to Sugarloaf SP is paved.  Any vehicle can make it! 

Prep:

Your typical camping gear.  Checking Santa Rosa weather forecast for weather conditions-- it may be a bit cold but we'll have a camp fire going.   Please bring firewood if you can!!
